Jolene is an experienced practitioner in the field of Youth Social Work since 1999. Taking this knowledge into the space of being a General Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit sector. A continued passion for working with our most vulnerable Tamariki, Rangatahi and Whanau to encourage and provide opportunities for our tamariki and rangatahi to find a way to thrive rather than just survive.

Jolene has worked at TYLA since 2011 and has been one of the Co-GM since 2014.

TYLA update:

In October we had Chris Luxon visit our TYLA site and meet some young people and then spoke on air and several times in the media referencing our programme.

In November we presented to Parliament about TYLA – an invitation from the Labour Party and organised by Shanan Halbert.  Chris Hipkins spoke also – at the time as Minister for Education and Police.

TYLA was originally a Rotary Club of Auckland project.
