The call-to-action was well answered.  Thank you everyone.
Liz Courtney (Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Zone 7b : New Zealand and the Pacific ) put out a call for underwear for 2 to 4 year olds in the squatter camps in Fiji.  These items are very expensive there and when asked how Rotary could help this was the request received.  Hundreds of pairs were brought to the South Pacific Presidents Elect Training Seminar in Auckland by the President Elect of many clubs and many more made donations of cash to be managed by Rotary for the benefit of these children as needed.  These were accepted by District 9920 Governor Malini Ragwhan (Suva) who along with the Presidents Elect from Fiji took these to Fiji at the end of SPPETS. This was a true example of Rotary in Action where a simple yet hugely needed call for help was answered.  Well done all.
This was also an excellent example of the power of good communication and publicity through websites and social media.
